But given the regime's track record, Iran's possible involvement with the cell is worth exploring further. Indeed, this story is worth investigating further--as are the possible ties between Iran and Hezbollah on the one hand, and al Qaeda's 9/11 hijackers on the other. As I wrote in my latest piece, the 9/11 Commission found that Iran and Hezbollah may have facilitated travel for a majority of the 9/11 hijackers in a manner very similar to this Bahraini al Qaeda cell. The Commission called for further investigation into the matter, but we are still waiting. If any such investigation is ever begun, the story of this Bahraini cell should also be looked into. The pattern of behavior is very similar. Posted by Thomas Joscelyn at 05:42 PM | Permalink | E-mail the author | E-mail article .

Jupiter Island 'reviewing its options' to regulate the number of ...
State Road 707 winding north and south through the lush Town of Jupiter Island has long been a paradise for residents and area bicyclists, but that popularity is now causing concern for both. “It's one of the most beautiful roads in Martin County," said John Silvia, owner of Pro Cycles in Stuart. “And with the trees and the winding curves, it's one of the most popular biking roads as well." But the attributes luring cyclists to the meandering, canopied drive also make it dangerous for the competing modes of travel, said Town Director of Public Safety Chief Ted Gonzales. Gonzales recently sent a letter to area bicycle shops and clubs in an attempt to reach out to the groups and urge riders to comply with the rules of the road, informing them the town commission is “reviewing its options" to regulate the number of cyclists that can ride together in a single group in order to make the town “as safe as possible." Gonzales said the town sees some 800 cyclists in groups of 40 to 75 pedaling through town on the weekends — some of whom disregard stop signs and ride three and four abreast, he said.
Software Windows Vista SP1 Performance: Mixed Results
The answer comes back time and time again, uhhhh well because my buddy Jim said it sucks, or it's slow, or it's buggy and crashes. Inevitably leading to the next question which is, Have you used it?Now it's easy to lie on a forum, face to face looking someone in the eye is different. The answer that comes back again and again is "uhh well no..."So is it that these proclaimed pros are just really stupid as mud? Or are they just lying and exaggerating the level of evaluation they have put into the software to draw these asinine conclusions? .

The new Killeen senior and recreation centers are scheduled to open May 3. That's what Killeen Parks and Recreation Director Brett Williams told Community Services Committee members and city staff during a tour of the two facilities' progress at Lions Club Park on Tuesday. Williams said the new senior center is 85 percent done and the new family recreation center is 75 percent completed. The committee started the tour in the senior center, which will include a covered drop-off area, a ballroom with a platform, administrative offices, and crafts, billiards, games, exercise and living rooms. "This is the main feature of the building," said Williams, standing in the center of the ballroom. He said the new senior center is much larger than the current Bob Gilmore center.
More than 20 Years in the Making
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke faces a perception problem: It looks like he is too ready to respond to a falling stock market. That criticism was sounded after the Fed moved to cut interest rates Tuesday, in part because of fears that an overseas stock-market plunge would spill over to the U.S. The drumbeat grew more intense yesterday as critics and others confronted the possibility that the global selloff was at least partly a false alarm, reflecting French bank Societe Generale SA's unwinding of a trader's unauthorized bad bets, and due less to economic anxiety." January 24 - Financial Times (Ralph Atkins): "The European Central Bank made clear yesterday it would not bow easily to pressure for eurozone interest rate cuts... Jean-Claude Trichet, ECB president, emphasised the priority that the bank attached to combating inflation and a belief that eurozone growth would remain robust in remarks that revealed a widening gulf between the bank and financial markets.

Sometimes, dreams of a lifetime take almost a lifetime to fulfill.Fifty years ago, Don Bentz, co-owner of Bentz's Town Pump in Casper, heard a story about a car wash in Canada built inside a giant oil field tank. The idea of an indoor car wash fascinated Bentz. Now, after 50 years of thinking about it and 10 years of actually working on it, Bentz's Self Serve Auto Center, including an indoor car wash, is tentatively scheduled to open on Feb. 18 next to Bentz's Town Pump, 701 W. Collins Dr."This is something I've always wanted to do," Bentz said. "Who wants to wash their car in the hot sun? Who wants to wash their car in the wind and cold?"Of course, this car wash isn't inside an oil storage tank. It's a hot water operation from presoaks to final rinse, heated in winter and cooled in summer, complete with sophisticated air exchange and oil recycling systems. The auto center actually is comprised of two service areas.

KATT WILLIAMS EXPLAINS CHICAGO Now, Katt Williams pissed the good people of Chicago off on that fateful New Year's Eve show 2008, where they said he was high as an eagle, over an hour late and unfunny. Nobody quite knows what happened but my girl Kendra G got to the bottom of it. For the record, Katt charges he gave the audience back their money, but some are saying they never received any such kick back. Amgen Tour of CA 2008 - Stage 2 Team Reports
Team CSC had Fabian Cancellara and Gustav Larsson up front during Wednesday's mountain stage in Tour of California. The 152-kilometer third stage was won by Robert Gesink (Rabobank) ahead of overall leader, Levi Leipheimer (Astana). But Cancellara impressively managed to maintain his overall second place. During the final of three very tough climbs Gesink and Leipheimer tore them selves loose from the rest of the front group, but following the decent they had 20 kilometers of flat road until the finish line in San Jos. At one point Leipheimer was almost one and a half minute ahead of the two Team CSC riders, who were working together with the rest of the group of 14, which had gathered behind Gesink and Leipheimer. Fabian Cancellara - kiss left, kiss right.
